Reynolds is a fun course but the greens on several holes are horrible with more weeds and blue paint than grass. I was told several times that the Championship course is nicer but it wouldn't make sense to maintain one course better than the other.

Played the champions course, what an exciting track, which really tests your long game and your ability to avoid sand traps. And your ability to get out of sand traps when you don't avoid. Club house is on point.

I am a beginner golfer, and I have to say, the hospitality at Tanglewood Golf Club is absolutely amazing! I am down here visiting family and brought my clubs along because I've become completely hooked on the game after only a few months.I arrived around 10:30 AM and let the gentleman at the front desk know it was my very first time visiting. He went completely above and beyondโ€”giving me a quick tour of the facility and making me feel incredibly welcome. When I told him I just wanted to warm up on the putting green, he checked in on me later to see how I was doing.I haven't even played the full course yet, but every single time I come back to Florida to visit family, I am definitely bringing my clubs because Tanglewood is a must-visit. The other golfers there were incredibly friendly and welcoming, too.If you are a beginner and feel a bit intimidated about picking up the game or trying out a new facility, I highly recommend coming here. The staff and the atmosphere make it the perfect place for newcomers. I cannot wait to come back! Oh, and I hit pretty good too!

Date: Saturday, May 9th, 2026 Time: 1:30pm Round: 4 Hours Price: $68 (Cart Included) Park Access: $2 - Range (extra $) - Large Putting Green (Chipping allowed) - Gas Carts (Can drive in parking lot) Itโ€™s always cool playing a former Major Championship venue. Tanglewood Park hosted the 1974 PGA Championship with Lee Travino winning. My expectations were modest, but the Championship Course exceeded them. There is a $2 entry fee at the gate leading into the park. Prepare to leave a few minutes as the line can get long. After a short drive, you are greeted by a brand new clubhouse. It features a bar/restaurant and nice wall with cool history. There is a modest range and huge putting green right near the first tee. The course itself has a good mix of challenging holes that will test all aspects of your game. The bunkers are not a fun place to be, but are in good shape if you find yourself in them. The greens do roll very quick and are very challenging. Conditioning was very good overall for a County-operated golf course. With it being a weekend, the course was a tad backed up. Things moved just quickly enough that it wasnโ€™t too big of a deal. For under $70 on a weekend, the Champ

Played Tanglewoodโ€™s Champion course - first time in a long time. Great layout & I like there is some water hazards, but not too much. Greens are in good to very good condition & typically run fast. Fairways are greening up. Bunkers are everywhere - mostly dry, with a couple of spots holding moisture. A port-a-pot between 9-10 & 12 & 14. Otherwise the other toilets are at the clubhouse. Carts are available for riders. Or you can use a push cart of your own and get more exercise. Enjoy your round - Iโ€™ll be back here often.
